DNA has experience in coordinating 40+ international artist collaborations working with various institutions both on- and offline.”



About.



The Dutch NFT Association (DNA) is a collaboration between artists from both The Guild , Arthouse and beyond (within the borders of the Netherlands). These Dutch artists are big crypto art enthusiasts and see NFT’s as a means to approach the creative process in a whole new way. Web3 offers them endless opportunities, which they are keen to explore. With their heads put together, they aspire to become a self-sufficient team of crypto artists.


“It all started during a brainstorm at a local pizza place where we first realized that we are at the beginning of something revolutionary. We believe NFT technology has the power to transform the artworld and the world of creators. We are a collective bound by a passion to realize a community of creators.”


The core team of DNA consists of Niels Broszat, Daniel Martin, Nina Knaack, Pablo Slenders, Rutger van der Tas and Mathijs Vissers.


Other artists actively involved with DNA are Raul Balai, Dominic Brown, Airco Caravan, Conny van Saben and Ytje Veenstra.


Furthermore our network consists of a wide variety of artists working within the traditional and digital art world that we can invite for specific projects.

Projects.




1. Async blueprint


This blueprint marks the first project of the DNA, which features works of 10 Dutch artists: Raul Balai, Niels Broszat, Dominic Brown, Airco Caravan, Daniel Martin, Conny van Saben, Pablo Slenders, Rutger van der Tas, Ytje Veenstra and Mathijs Vissers.


There are 200 1/1 pieces in total.


In The Dutch Genesis you see classic imagery combined with some of the infinite possibilities of the new digital highway. Every artist brings his/her own unique style into the equation. This creates the most interesting combinations of themes and styles in different layers.


Through art, the DNA wants to create a self-sustainable ecosystem. In order to achieve that, the proceedings of this mint will be used to fund the association in its future endeavors and development; like showcasing NFT’s on screens in real life, connecting with the communities and building a sustainable NFT ecosystem. The goal is to acquire autonomy by selling crypto art. Subsequently, the raised funds plus the combined knowledge of all the artists involved, can be used for future collaborations with museums and art spaces to educate the audience about the new and upcoming art world. 2. NFT Masterclass & Inspiration session at Museum Krona, Uden


NFT, blockchain, Web3 and the metaverse: what is this new, revolutionary technique? And more important: what can artists, museums, cultural spaces and companies do with it? On the 1st of October 2022 there is a special NFT Masterclass & Inspiration session at Museum Krona in Uden, and we from DNA will be hosting. Talks are by Niels Broszat, Rutger van der Tas, Pablo Slenders and Frank Bosman (in Dutch). Tickets can be reserved at the website of Museum Krona.

3. NFT residency projects


The goal of the residency projects is to create interaction between professional artists from different cultures to share ideas, skills, knowledge and network. By bringing the artists together we like to spark new ideas in the cultural environment. With having a common goal to work towards in the form of an exhibition we make these efforts visible to the public and share what happens during the project and the work that has been made.
